KilGogh Arts Festival

Friday February 21- Saturday February 22, 2019

The KilGogh Arts Festival aims to provide an opportunity for local and regional artists to exhibit their art and make the festival an East Texas art experience for the community. KilGogh attracts artists and visitors from across East Texas, the Shreveport/Bossier area and Dallas/Fort Worth region. Started by local art enthusiasts, this event has grown each year since its inaugural event in March 2013, and is now managed by the Kilgore Main Street program.

The KilGogh Arts Festival is returning for an eighth year and this year we're taking the theme "Gogh Crazy!" seriously with the biggest festival yet! With two locations and two days of activities, you won't want to miss out on KilGogh 2020. Read more about each event below.

Art & Wine Exhibition

Friday February 21, 6pm-9pm

The annual Art & Wine Exhibition of the KilGogh Arts Festival is taking place once again in Historic Downtown Kilgore. This year the event will span across the road, to include the Old Post Office, as well as the Texan Theater.  It will be an evening of entertainment, food from the Kilgore College Culinary Arts, wine tastings from local East Texas wineries and a wide array of artists from throughout the region. There will also be seminar sessions with exhibiting artists throughout the night.

Tickets to the exhibition are $30 each and include the opportunity to sample wines and the culinary arts while you peruse and purchase exclusive artwork.

Saturday February 22, 10am-2pm

The art exhibition will be open to the public for free on Saturday from 10am-2pm. This is the perfect opportunity to talk with the artists at their booths and to purchase a piece or two.
