Mayor Ronnie Spradlin

Ronnie is a lifetime resident of Kilgore and an active member of community. His community involvement spans several decades and includes his role as co-founder of Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation and of Kilgore Boys & Girls Club. He also was instrumental in the establishment of the Texas Shakespeare Festival, Hearts Anonymous, and many other community organizations. In 1990, he was named Kilgore’s Citizen of the Year by the Kilgore Chamber of Commerce. He has served as Mayor since 2010.

The Family of Frank Brown

Frank Brown was a prominent and active member of the Kilgore community. He served as President on numerous boards such as Lair Hospital Foundation and East Texas Treatment Center, was one of the founding directors of the Texas Shakespeare Festival Foundation, and was a board member and president of the Kilgore Economic Development Corporation. He also served on the board and as president of Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation where he was a diligent worker re-creating Kilgore's Derrick skyline as well as instrumental in the purchase of Kilgore’s old post office building. Frank was was honored to be chosen as the Citizen of the Year in 1994 by the Kilgore Chamber of Commerce.
