Fridays After 5 is a Kilgore highlight that takes place the first Friday of April, May, June and August. It is a free live music concert that takes place under the stars in the beautiful city of Kilgore. The family-friendly concerts are absolutely FREE! So bring your lawn chair or your dancing shoes and come enjoy the festive atmosphere under the derricks.
Each concert takes place at the World's Richest Acre located along N Commerce St and
music starts at 7pm.
May 1: Harvest Moon Countrygrass
HMC is your east Texas dance band. Our music is a fun family friendly mix of classic country, bluegrass, and gospel, with a little Elvis and Chuck Berry thrown in for good measure. We are an affordable 5 piece band. Our rates reflect the size of band requested from a 2 piece duo to a 5-6 piece full band. We love Jesus, Family, & the USA - especially our soldiers! And we love a party.

June 5: TBA Music
TBA Music is a Dallas-based variety band with a perfect blend of pop, soul, and motown from the 60’s, 70’s, and now. No matter the occasion or theme, TBA Music has a versatile and favorable repertoire that can match the style and atmosphere of your event. They’ve played throughout some of the most well-known venues and events in DFW—including the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Museum of Art, Perot Museum, State Fair of Texas, Cottonwood Arts Festival, Taste of Addison, and Magnolia’s Silobration establishing themselves as a sought-after choice. They perform as a duo, trio, or five piece band for weddings, private events, festivals, and more.

August 7: Josh Mandreger
Jackson, Michigan was a long trek for East Texas transplant Josh Mandreger, who found himself pursuing love, all the while, also smitten by music. His passion for all things music took the Michigan native on a musical exploration, once he planted his roots in the Piney Woods. These days, you will find Josh, doing what he does best: One man, one guitar. Singing some of your favorite, and some times, eccentric, cover songs and originals. Through the lenses of experience, from the gut, and always, from the cry of his heart, that’s where you’ll find Josh giving his all.
