Kilgore Main Street is throwing a Patriotic Street Party and everyone is invited! Join in all the fun in Historic Downtown Kilgore where there will be plenty of entertainment and activities to keep cool.
Schedule of Events
10:00 a.m. - Patriotic Street Party Begins
*Live Music throughout day at Texan Theater by Harvest Moon Country Grass
*Free Rides begin on Mechanical Bull
*Decorating stations available for kid’s bike parade entries
* Free face painting and hair braiding
10:45 a.m. - Line Up for Bike Parade and Judging
10:55 a.m. - National Anthem & Welcome
11:00 a.m. - Bike Parade
*Prizes for best decorated bikes, all ages welcome
*Running on North Kilgore Street from North Street to the Texan Theater
*American Fair Food Contest: drop-off entries at the Texan Theater from 11 a.m.until 12:15 p.m. (Categories:
pies, cakes, cookies,jam/jelly, pickles and hot sauce/salsa.)
11:30 a.m. - Bike parade winners announced
*Free and Fun Water Activities begin
11:35 a.m. - Kilgore Fire Department Pumper Races & Obstacle Course
12:00 p.m. - For Veterans Sake Service Dog Demonstration
1:00 p.m. - Winners Announced from American Food Fair Contest
1:20 p.m. -Patriotic songs sing along in the Texan Theater
1:30 p.m. - Kilgore Fire Department Pumper Races & Obstacle Course
2:00 p.m. - Speakers in the Texan Theater

AMERICAN FAIR FOOD CONTEST ENTRY FORM
Please bring your entry to the Texan Theater (201 S Kilgore St) from 11am-12:15pm on Saturday July 21. Prizes will be presented to winning items in each category at 1pm. Items are judged on both taste and presentation.
All entries must be homemade, no store bought or bakery prepared items.
Entry fee is a donation to the Veterans Monument Fund of Kilgore, please bring cash or check on the day.

BIKE PARADE
Saturday, July 21 at 11 am
All participants meet at the corner of
N Kilgore & North St
The Bike Parade is for all ages to ride their decorated bicycles down N Kilgore St, starting from North St and finishing at the Texan Theater. We will have decorating stations set up close to the starting line for those that want to add some finishing touches to their bikes.
If you would like to participate please be at North St & N Kilgore St at 10:45am. The Parade starts shortly after 11am, to be eligible for the best decorated bike contest please ensure you are at the starting line by 10:45am for our judges to look at all the bikes before the parade commences.
